Vibroacoustic Therapy

In-Person Only

A guided, body-centred experience that uses sound, vibration, and frequency to help your system slow down, orient inward, and reconnect with its natural capacity for regulation and renewal.

This work supports the gentle unfolding of awareness, the release of held tension, and the transformation of underlying patterns—allowing your system to elevate into greater coherence, vitality, and ease.

Sessions are held in a calm, regulated environment where safety comes first. Nothing is forced. Your body leads the process.

What is Vibroacoustic Therapy?

A non-invasive, research-supported modality that delivers low-frequency sound vibrations directly into the body—often through a specialized sound table.

Instead of engaging the thinking mind, VAT works through direct sensory input. Vibration travels through muscles, fascia, organs, and the nervous system, creating conditions where the body can recognize tension it’s been holding and begin to let it go.

Awareness arises naturally—not because you’re trying to “figure something out,” but because the body is given the space to reorganize on its own terms.

About Your Session

  • Low-frequency sound waves move through the body via a supportive surface, interacting with:

    • muscles and connective tissue

    • the autonomic nervous system

    • circulation and breath

    • the body’s energetic field

As your system receives these frequencies, it often begins to:

    • ease out of stress and survival responses

    • soften deep muscular and fascial holding

    • support emotional release without overwhelm

    • improve circulation and oxygen flow

    • settle into a more coherent, balanced state

Release happens gently. Change comes from within—not through pressure, but through support.

  • Before Your Session

    • Hydrate well

    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing

    • Limit caffeine and nicotine

    • Take medications as prescribed

  • You will lie on a liquid-sound vibroacoustic table that transmits vibration throughout your body. Andrea may incorporate:

    • Vibroacoustic sound frequencies

    • Crystal bowls

    • Chakra balancing

    • Tuning forks (on the body and in the auric field)

    • Intention-based energy support

The vibroacoustic portion typically lasts 30–60 minutes.

  • You are encouraged to:

    • Drink filtered water

    • Rest or move gently

    • Notice subtle and deeper shifts over time

Clients often report deep calm, emotional release, reduced pain, improved sleep, and a sense of internal clarity and reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Vibroacoustic Therapy uses low-frequency sound vibrations to stimulate the body physically, supporting deep relaxation and nervous-system regulation.

  • Quantum Healing works primarily with expanded states of awareness and consciousness. Vibroacoustic Therapy works through the body and nervous system. Many clients find VAT supportive before or after quantum work to enhance regulation and integration.

  • Most people describe the experience as grounding and soothing, often entering a deeply relaxed or meditative state.

  • Some notice shifts after one session; others choose ongoing sessions as part of a regular regulation and integration practice.

  • Yes. Vibroacoustic Therapy complements Quantum Healing, Energy Healing, and subconscious work by supporting embodiment and nervous-system stability.

  • No. While it works with the body, Vibroacoustic Therapy does not involve hands-on manipulation. The therapeutic effect comes from sound vibrations rather than physical pressure.

  • Yes. Vibroacoustic Therapy is supported by a growing body of research exploring the effects of sound and vibration on the nervous system, pain perception, and physiological regulation.

Studies suggest that low-frequency sound vibration can support relaxation, nervous-system balance, and reductions in pain and muscle tension.

  • Research indicates that vibroacoustic and sound-based interventions may:

    • Support autonomic nervous-system regulation

    • Improve circulation and oxygen delivery

    • Reduce stress responses

    • Promote deep states of relaxation

    • Influence neuromodulation through rhythmic vibration

These effects help create the physiological conditions necessary for the body to rest, repair, and reorganize.

  • At Healing Pathways, research is used to support—not replace—the body’s innate intelligence.

Vibroacoustic Therapy sits at the intersection of science, somatics, and energetic healing, offering a regulated, embodied pathway that pairs seamlessly with deeper consciousness work such as Quantum Healing.

  • Vibroacoustic Therapy Studies & Research

Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) uses precisely tuned low-frequency sound vibrations to relax the body, calm the nervous system, and support natural balance. Below is a curated and continually expanding library of peer-reviewed research exploring VAT’s effects on pain, Parkinson’s, anxiety, sleep, autism, respiratory care, and more. We update this page as new evidence emerges to help practitioners, researchers, and individuals evaluate the science behind vibroacoustics.

    Overview of Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT)

VAT applies gentle, low-frequency sound (often ~30–120 Hz) through transducers to the body, promoting relaxation, improved circulation, muscle ease, and parasympathetic activation. Over the past four decades, clinicians and researchers have studied VAT across neurological, pain, sleep, sensory, and pulmonary domains.

One Session Changed Everything

“After one session of Reiki and sound therapy, I felt like a different person—calm and grounded. Andrea helped me release an emotional block so I could move forward with happiness and purpose.”

JD - Hamilton, ON

What Led Andrea to Study Vibroacoustic Therapy

Andrea’s relationship with healing has always been intertwined with sound. She began playing guitar at age ten and intuitively sensed the emotional and physical influence of music long before understanding it clinically.

In 2005, she experienced her first vibroacoustic session—an experience that stayed with her for nearly two decades. In 2024, during a period of physical discomfort and emotional stagnation, she returned to vibroacoustics for support. The shifts she experienced were profound and life-changing.

As her long-standing practitioner prepared to retire, Andrea felt clearly guided to continue this work. She invested in a professional liquid-sound vibroacoustic table, undertook formal training, and became a Certified Vibroacoustic Therapy Practitioner in May 2025.

Through her own healing journey, Andrea experienced relief from sciatica, chronic back pain, and insomnia—reinforcing her trust in this modality as a bridge between scientific understanding, somatic intelligence, and energetic transformation.
